LASUSTECH RELEASES PROPOSED 2026/2027 ACADEMIC CALENDAR

Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Ikorodu, has released its proposed academic calendar for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to the proposed calendar, fresh students are scheduled to begin registration and clearance on Monday, October 19, 2026, while returning students’ registration is scheduled to commence on Monday, October 26, 2026.

Other important dates include:

• Orientation — November 16–20, 2026

• Matriculation — November 25, 2026

• First Semester Lectures Begin — November 2, 2026

• Christmas/New Year Break — December 21, 2026–January 3, 2027

• Convocation/Founder's Day — January 27–February 2, 2027

• First Semester Examinations — February 15–March 19, 2027

• Second Semester Lectures — March 22, 2027

• Second Semester Examinations — June 21–July 9, 2027

• Long Vacation — July 12–October 8, 2027

• 2027/2028 Session Begins — October 11, 2027

The calendar also provides periods for SIWES, revision, examinations, marking and processing of results.

Students are advised to note that the calendar is marked as proposed and should follow further announcements from the university for any adjustments.
